Costa-Luz is a newly built hotel that opened just two months ago, and I had the pleasure of staying there for a night recently. As a seasoned traveler from London, I appreciate a good mix of comfort and value, and this hotel offers just that. What stood out during my visit was the overall cleanliness; the rooms were modern and well-maintained. I had a four-bunk bed dormitory room all to myself, which I found surprisingly spacious. It featured a private bathroom, air conditioning, and the convenience of a flat-screen TV. For those long days of exploring, the shared sitting area with a fridge and coffee machine was a nice touch. The location is prime—right next to the bus station—making it easy to hop on and off to see the sights. The friendly staff were knowledgeable and provided good insights into local bars and cafes, adding a nice local touch to my brief stay. While it was primarily a stopover for me, I could see Costa-Luz as a solid choice for anyone weighing the balance between luxury and affordability.
